	Pennies For Patients The goal of this service learning project is to inform students about Leukemia and Lymphoma and to raise funds to help Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Students have already participated in a kick-off assembly on 1/11/12.
	Seismic Testing at BHHS The District has retained Leighton Consultants, a preeminent geotechnical engineering firm to conduct a detailed review of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) reports and underlying data and to conduct an independent on-campus site investigation. The on-campus portion of their assignment will begin this week and will continue into January. Initially, this work will require crews and drill rigs to drill a series soils borings across campus.
